The Tour de France Femmes will end its 2026 edition in Nice, with the peloton racing into the city on August 8 from Sisteron before a decisive final stage held entirely around Nice on August 9.
The last stage covers 99km and includes four ascents of the Col d'Èze, with the final lap diverting onto the Chemin du Vinaigrier and the Col des Quatre Chemins, where gradients reach 16 percent, before the descent to a finish on the Promenade des Anglais. Marion Rousse, director of the Tour de France Femmes, said the choice of Nice reflected the organisers' long relationship with the city through Paris-Nice and the men's Grand Départ in 2020. "We really wanted this big finish in Nice," she said.
Temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be introduced along the route and in the surrounding areas on both days, with full timings to be published closer to the event. It marks the first time the Riviera has hosted the finish of the women's race, two years after Nice staged the finale of the men's Tour de France in 2024.
