The Festival d'Art Pyrotechnique, running in Cannes since 1967 and regarded as one of the world's most prestigious fireworks competitions, holds its final display of the season tonight, Monday, August 24, according to ICI. The closing show, presented out of competition by the Czech Republic, begins at 10pm and is visible from the Croisette, Cannes' beaches and other points along the coast, the outlet reported.
The festival brings pyrotechnic teams from around the world to Cannes each summer, with each display staged as a synchronised production combining fireworks, music and choreography.
