The French Riviera has a new direct connection to the United States. Delta Air Lines launched its Boston to Nice nonstop service, operating three times a week and placing the Côte d'Azur within easy reach of the American east coast for the first time without a European hub stop.

More than 450 free shows across 150 municipalities, from the coast to the mountain villages. The Alpes-Maritimes department has unveiled its summer cultural programme, running from June 26 to August 31, with theatre, jazz, circus, dance and a Brazilian twist running through the whole season.
