A 17 year old was fighting for his life on Sunday afternoon after being found stabbed in a car park on rue du Docteur-Ardouin in the Nice-Est district, according to fire services and police cited by France 3 Côte d'Azur and Nice-Matin.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 2.30pm and found the teenager in serious condition, with his life at risk at the time of his evacuation, according to police. He was taken to hospital in a medicalised vehicle. Nice's public prosecutor's office has opened a criminal investigation into the attack.
The incident is the second stabbing reported in the same area within a week, after a man in his thirties was evacuated with a serious thigh wound six days earlier. No arrests had been announced at the time of writing.
