High above Monaco-Ville, where the Oceanographic Museum's terrace meets the sky, one of the Principality's most anticipated summer evenings returns this Saturday.
The Friends of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco host their annual Summer Party on July 25, running from 7pm to 11pm, transforming the museum's panoramic rooftop into an open-air celebration of the sea.
Now an established fixture of the Monégasque summer, the evening welcomes back supporters of the museum for an occasion the association describes as a wonderful way to mark the season's arrival. This year's edition will also mark the launch of Le Cercle, a new membership programme inviting businesses to support the museum's ocean conservation work directly.
Guests can expect a cocktail dinner from restaurant La Terrasse, music from DJ Marc, and tastings from Monte Carlo Champagne and Gelato & Cioccolato Monaco, alongside a dedicated children's programme and a floral workshop from Bloom by the Sea. The evening builds toward 10.30pm, when Monaco's summer fireworks light up the sky over the Mediterranean, framed by one of the best vantage points in the Principality.
Beyond the glamour, the evening carries real purpose. Funds raised will support the association's work alongside the museum since 2011, championing marine research, education and conservation.
