Six influencers renting a villa in Vallauris for their summer holiday were held up at gunpoint by three masked robbers in the early hours of August 9, in an armed robbery Grasse's public prosecutor has opened an investigation into.
According to police sources cited by Le Parisien, the three intruders, one carrying a handgun and the other two armed with knives, broke into the villa around 3am, threatening the occupants before making off with two smartphones, a laptop and two luxury watches. The group fled to the villa's bathroom as the robbery unfolded, later contacting police once the intruders had left. The stolen items were valued at more than 100,000 euros.
Nice's police judiciaire has taken over the investigation, with all three suspects still at large. The identities of the influencers involved have not been made public.
