Cap sous les Étoiles returns to Roquebrune-Cap-Martin's Parc du Cap-Martin for three consecutive nights from Thursday, July 16 to Saturday, July 18, set among the park's century-old olive trees between Menton and Monaco, according to ICI Azur.
The festival opens with Formidable! Aznavour, a tribute show conceived by Gil Marsalla and performed by Jules Grison tracing Charles Aznavour's career through his best-known songs. Charlélie Couture follows on Friday, July 17 with Contreband, a set he describes as constantly evolving, mixing material from his Projet Bleu Vert alongside older favourites. Gilbert Montagné closes the festival on Saturday, July 18, drawing on his new album L'Amour dans ses mains, his first collection of original songs in two decades, co-written with Claude Lemesle and Didier Barbelivien.
Each night opens with food trucks and a bar from 7pm, with performances starting at 8.30pm. Tickets start at 37 euros for the opening night, rising to 50 euros for Montagné's closing show. Rising acts Elise Allasia and Elissa Lauper open for Couture and Montagné respectively, both drawing on the region's folk and pop-soul scenes.
